For the Clementine Syrup (yields 750ml)

300ml recently pressed clementine juice
200ml newly squeezed lemon juice
500g fine sugar

Ingredients for the Cocktail (yields 850ml, to serve 10)

400ml good quality vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach schnapps
200ml clementine syrup (from the recipe above)
Whole cranberries, to garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch

Instructions

Making the Citrus Syrup: Put the listed ingredients inside a pan, heat until it reaches a light boil, agitating until the sugar dissolves. Then, turn off the stove allowing it to reach room temperature completely. Pour into an sealable bottle, cap it keeping it in the refrigerator, it will last for around one month.

To make Cocktail Base: Pour every spirits and syrup in a sizeable container, let it rest for an hour, then strain best through muslin, so it's perfectly clear.

When ready to serve: Add 85ml of your batch mix into a mixing glass packed with ice, and stir gently for about 60 seconds to cool it down. Strain into a chilled martini glass or equivalent, garnish with a few cranberries adding the final touch with a brief mist of mandarin oil over the drink.
